Record Funding for District 30
In my four years in office, I have brought record funding to District 30, including over $200 million to Louisville in special development projects, and over $30 million in new roads designated specifically for District 30, including current and scheduled improvements on Buechel Bypass, Newburg Rd, Buechel Bank, Rangeland Rd, Bardstown Rd, and Preston Hwy.
Key Issues
Protecting Seniors
Seniors are often neglected in public policy, but I am at the forefront of legislation protecting them from scams, expanding their benefits, and freezing their property taxes at age 65. Our seniors should age gracefully in their homes.
Affordability
Rising costs are out of control. Too many families are living paycheck-to-paycheck and find the American Dream falling out of reach. I am fighting to rein in medical costs, utility prices, promote housing, and have cut taxes on the working and middle class.
Child Safety
Our children are our most vulnerable population. I have sponsored successful legislation that criminalizes grooming minors, prohibits sex offenders from foster care and adoption, mandates age verification on social media, and protects our children at school bus stops.
Fighting Extremism
When MAGA Republicans threatened our marginalized communities, I fought hard to protect those at risk, while also reaching across the aisle where there is common ground and shared values.
