Meet Daniel

Daniel Grossberg has lived in Louisville for over 25 years, proudly serving the 30th District since 2023.

He represents the following areas: West Buechel, Buechel, Newburg, Petersburg, Okolona, Bon Air, Watterson Park, and Klondike.

He serves as Democratic lead on the following committees: Natural Resources and Energy, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation, and Administrative Regulations; he also serves on Small Business and Information Technology, and the Kentucky Antisemitism Task Force. His policy areas of expertise are: social justice, affordable housing, criminal justice, and technology policy.

As a leading figure of the new generation of Democrats, he has long helped elect a number of Democratic candidates and affected policy. Prior to being a State Representative, he was a leader in the Democratic Party at both the local and state level, and was an active community advocate on a number of issues, particularly related to social justice.

Daniel lives in Louisville with his wife Erica, a public school teacher, and their two rescue golden retrievers.
